First Skiing in my life

Today is our first day to ski. Thanks to Arin and Mun, they rented a SUV but drove by Don, we went to Afton Alps to experience skiing. Here is the website, http://www.aftonalps.com/index.php
We arrived at 12 p.m. each person has to pay $24 for lift ticket. It takes $19 to have whole equipment rental, including ski, poles, and boots. Then you could have free lesson for one hour. Starting from A, V, and 11 shape, then making turns, we learned how to ski from Martee,a nice old man from Spain. Afterward, we were on our own. Of course I fell lots of time, luckily, I did not break any bone. Yvonne did better than I. (What a shame!)
We left at 6 p.m. but took an hour on 95, Menning rd. Our car even stucked into the snow, then we went for help from people living there. He drove his car to pull our car off the snow. What a experience too.
We had our dinner in HOHO restaurant. It's a nice chinese food near 94 in St. Paul.

Ready to ski.

gogogo.

On the middle of the easiest hill. The two people on right side are Kelly and Martee.

Kelly and Yvonne.

Arin and Mun. Mun is really good at ski.

This is the slope we struggled. Yes, it's easy, but it's hard for beginner like us.

Lift area.

Looks so stupid like Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Before lifting.

Kelly has not recover from jet lag. She was back from China yesterday.

Getting dark, but more and more people came.

All of us.

Leaving.

Had dinner in HOHO.
