Recently, we are working on moving to new apartment, finding internship, and maybe buying a car after intern confirmed. Once we confirm the new availability of seven corner, we will publish a sublease post of current 2 bed room apartment in University Commons. Please help forward the leasing information then. Even though seven corner is a little old, but it is close to Carlson and cheaper than University Commons.
Regarding car, feel free to give us suggestions. Prefer fuel efficient brand and maybe 3-5 years old. However, the prerequisite is find an intern.

To drive safely on snowy or icy roads, you have better choose a AWD/4WD car or a FWD with traction control and stability control.
In case of AWD/4WD, Subaru Impreza and Outback will be economic and reliable choices. In case of FWD, Toyota and Honda are great grands with good reputation.
Here is a traction test conducted in Canada.
