The instructor is from Colombia and has a double PhD degree in Harvard. I admired his knowledge of everything from culture, religion, politics, and international issues. He gave some useful perspectives and broad approaches to analyze complicated situations. However, most of time, if you are not very concentrated, it is easily to get lost and never come back.
There is a 10 pages analysis report and a class simulation need to be done. Moreover, a final exam is required too. From grade perspective, it is not a bad class. But, it depends largely on instructor style. Maybe different professor has different ways to teach this topic.
The alternative is 4 credits World Economy. So...
